Ambassador and Chinese expert team inspect China-aid projects in Grenada

Recently, a Chinese expert team, accompanied by Yang Shu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada and Chief Official for Economic and Trade Affairs in Grenada Tang Jianyi, successfully completed the preliminary technical research and on-site survey of relevant China-aid projects in Grenada.


During the survey, the Chinese expert team held in-depth talks with Hon. Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, and the heads of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, the Grenada Transport Commission, and the other ministries, and conducted extensive exchanges with the project partners, local people and Chinese enterprises in Grenada.



On-site surveys were carried out on the project site selection, scale, implementation risks and construction conditions, and a comprehensive assessment was made of the necessity and technical feasibility of project implementation, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of China-aid projects.


The Chinese side stated that it will carefully analyze the research findings, scientifically design relevant projects, continuously deepen follow-up practical cooperation, enhance the well-being of the Grenadian people, and contribute to the development of Grenada economy and society.


The Grenadian side expresses gratitude to China for its long-term support, and looks forward to deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation, accelerating the implementation of selected projects, and bringing the friendly relations between China and Grenada to a new level.
