China and Guyana Sign MOU on Green Transportation Initiative

China and Guyana have taken a significant step toward strengthening climate cooperation with the signing of a new agreement focused on sustainable transportation.

Li Gao, Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and AnYin Choo, Ambassador of Guyana to China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Beijing to launch a green and low-carbon transportation project.

The initiative, part of South-South cooperation efforts to combat climate change, aims to support Guyana’s transition to more sustainable transport systems through technical and financial collaboration.
