Chinese ambassador and Grenada minister exchange views on deepening cooperation

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada Yang Shu met with Adrian Thomas, Minister for Tourism, the Creative Economy, and Culture of Grenada on May 7, 2026, to exchanged views on deepening cooperation between China and Grenada in areas such as culture and tourism.

Yang noted that this year marks the first anniversary of the launch of the "five programs" for building a China-CELAC community with a shared future. China is willing to work with Grenada to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in culture, tourism, museums, and other fields, promote mutual understanding between the two peoples, and consolidate the foundation of bilateral relations.
Thomas thanked China for its long-term support for Grenada's cultural and tourism industries, noting that his recent visit to China yielded fruitful results. He expressed readiness to engage in close exchanges and cooperation with China to strengthen the foundation of bilateral friendship.
