A charity concert and global food festival was held at the Government House in Antigua and Barbuda on the evening of May 9, 2026.
The Governor-General, Sir Rodney Williams and his wife, Lady Williams, as well as ambassadors and local people attended the event.

The dazzling Chinese food stall became the most popular highlight of the event. A variety of Chinese snacks prepared by the embassy, including fried dumplings, spring rolls, colorful steamed buns and coconut red bean balls, were highly praised and enjoyed by the guests. The fragrant and elegant Kung Fu tea also attracted a long line of guests, who made it always in demand.
Sir Rodney Williams and Lady Williams spoke highly of the unique charm of Chinese culinary culture and expressed gratitude for the Embassy’s active participation and careful preparation.

This charity event was hosted by the Halo Foundation, a local charity organization in Antigua and Barbuda to raise funds to support disadvantaged groups and spread warmth throughout the community.
