Chinese Embassy in Grenada hosts “Ni Hao China” open day event

The Embassy of China in Grenada hosted a “Ni Hao China” Embassy Open Day on July 17, 2026. Yang Shu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada attended the event and delivered remarks.

About 40 teachers and students from the TAMCC Confucius Institute participated in the activity.

Yang welcomed everyone to the embassy to experience Chinese culture up close, and to enjoy a relaxing summer afternoon through interactive activities and fun games.

The event was lively and well-attended. Calligraphy, mung bean soup tasting, and the chopsticks-and-ping-pong game drew waves of laughter, while tug-of-war, table tennis, darts, and a knowledge quiz brought the atmosphere to a crescendo.

The children were fully engaged, winning prizes and lingering long after the activities ended. To close the event, everyone gathered to make dumplings together, experiencing the warmth of a traditional Chinese family gathering.
