The Chinese Embassy in Grenada in collaboration with the Grenada Overseas Chinese Association, Chinese enterprises, and teachers and students from the TAMCC Confucius Institute, formed a "Dragon and Lion Dance Team" to make a dazzling appearance at the Carnival parade, bringing a visual feast infused with Eastern charm to the audience, on August 11, 2026, .

The Chinese parade team made a splendid debut in the main urban area of St. George's, the capital of Grenada, interacting warmly with spectators along the route in a lively atmosphere. The majestic dragon dance soared and twisted, the spirited lion dance drew waves of cheers, the resounding traditional drumbeats lifted spirits, and the elegant Hanfu showcase beautifully displayed the charm of traditional Chinese attire.

Large numbers of local residents and international tourists paused to watch, applaud, and cheer in admiration.
Multiple local television stations provided live coverage of the Chinese parade team, and Ambassador Yang gave an interview to the local media.
