Grenada embassy hosts roundtable discussion to celebrate China's communist party's 105th anniversary

The Embassy of China in Grenada hosted a roundtable discussion to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China on July 14, 2026.
Yang Shu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada attended the event and delivered a speech. Representatives attending the discussion included Chester Humphrey, former President of the Senate as well as scholars and other representatives.

In his remarks, Yang noted that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the country has made historic achievements. The four major global initiatives put forward by China, he added, have contributed Chinese wisdom and solutions to global governance. Ambassador also stressed that innovation is the inevitable choice for addressing the global growth predicament.
The Grenadian representatives spoke highly of the achievements of the CPC, stating that the Chinese path to modernization offers valuable reference for other developing countries. They expressed their expectation to contribute to the cause of China-Grenada friendship.
