The Bahamas and China commit to more cultural exchanges in 2026

Chinese Ambassador to the Bahamas, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong met with members of the Bahamas China Friendship Association (BCFA) on 11 December 2025.

Ambassador Yan commended the BCFA for its long-standing commitment to promoting friendship with China.

Both sides reviewed a series of joint activities held over the past year, and agreed that greater efforts should be made to tap into cultural and people-to-people exchanges in the coming year, making new contributions to enhancing the friendship and well-being of the two peoples.
