Media and Chinese embassy in Grenada strengthen relations

The Chinese Embassy in Grenada held a networking event with the Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG) on June 19, 2026. 

Yang Shu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada, Calistra Farrier, President of MWAG and approximately 20 of its members and guests attended.

During the event, Ambassador Yang expressed appreciation to the Grenadian media for their longstanding positive coverage of the friendly relations between China and Grenada. He also elaborated on the traditional essence of Chinese culinary culture.

President Farrier thanked Ambassador Yang for his presentation and expressed that the Grenadian media are willing to continue strengthening cooperation with the Chinese Embassy, contributing to enhancing mutual learning between the two civilizations and fostering friendship between the two peoples.

There was a hotpot social activity during the event.
