Chinese embassy in Barbados holds reception for promotion of China's Human Resources Development Cooperation

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Barbados successfully held the Reception for the Promotion of China's Human Resources Development Cooperation. Approximately 80 attendees were present, including senior officials from the Government of Barbados, Barbadian participants of training programs in China, and representatives from various sectors on April 24.

H.E. Zheng Bingkai, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Hon. Sandra Husbands, Minister of Technological and Vocational Training , and Ms. Donna Ford, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade delivered remarks on behalf of China and Barbados respectively.
Representatives of Barbadian trainees who had attended programs in China also shared their experiences. Ambassador Zheng emphasized that China's Human Resources Development Cooperation constitutes an important component of the friendly bilateral relationship between China and Barbados, and that China welcomes individuals from all sectors in Barbados to actively participate in the training programs, with a view to further advancing human resources cooperation between the two countries.

During the reception, the 8th Chinese Medical Assistance Team to Barbados organized interactive activities featuring traditional Chinese culture, including traditional Chinese medicine, tea art, and calligraphy. These activities were well received, fostering lively engagement and a warm atmosphere between participants from both sides.
