China decides to lift import ban on US logs following assessment of US corrective measures: customs authority
China's General Administration of Customs (GAC) announced on Friday it has decided to repeal Announcement No. 29 of 2025 (on the suspension of imports of US logs), according to a GAC statement. The move follows an evaluation of the corrective measures taken by the US side and is in accordance with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, and international standards on phytosanitary measures.
